“Come Closer” – new single by the TOMORA project

In the first days of February, the music world split into those who had already heard about it and those who were just about to discover a new musical phenomenon. TOMORA – a project that brings together a legend of British electronic music and one of the most compelling contemporary vocalists – has unveiled a new single, Come Closer, and confirmed details of a debut album of the same title.

TOMORA is a fusion of the creators’ names: Tom Rowlands, best known as one half of The Chemical Brothers, and the Norwegian artist Aurora, who in recent years has consistently expanded her musical horizons. The project’s name suggests a shared vision and a forward-looking approach to music – a distinct merging of their artistic worlds.

The new single Come Closer was released on 5 February 2026 and accompanies the announcement of the album bearing the same title, which is set for release on 17 April via Capitol Records. TOMORA has drawn attention not only from fans of both artists, but also from music industry observers. The project has already been confirmed in the line-up of Open’er Festival 2026, where it will perform on 4 July on the Tent Stage – one of the most anticipated moments of the summer festival season.

TOMORA – COME CLOSER

It is worth noting that Aurora and Tom Rowlands have collaborated before – the vocalist appeared on selected The Chemical Brothers productions, while Rowlands has worked on projects connected to Aurora’s output. This mutual chemistry now seems to form the foundation of a new, standalone project.

TOMORA’s arrival on the music scene with such momentum – a new single, a full-length album and major festival plans – has sparked interest not only among fans of dance and electronic music, but also among listeners who value artistic collaborations and bold musical concepts.
