Jeff Goldblum announces the album “Night Blooms”. Lead single “Misty” out now

Jeff Goldblum once again opens the door to his jazz world – this time alongside his long-standing ensemble, The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. The newly announced album “Night Blooms” is set to follow 2025’s “Still Blooming” and will be released on June 5, 2026 via Fontana, under the Universal umbrella.

The new chapter begins with the single “Misty”, featuring Melody Gardot, released on January 16, 2026. The press release highlights that the song is a classic by Erroll Garner, presented here in a new arrangement shaped by bassist Alex Frank and organist Joe Bagg.

It is worth pausing on the broader release context. Fontana is a revived label positioned as a home for jazz and related genres in the UK, and its roster at the time of relaunch included, among others, Jeff Goldblum and Melody Gardot.

The album “Night Blooms” consists of 12 tracks. Some are brand-new recordings, while others are labeled “Late Night Session” – more intimate, club-oriented versions of songs previously heard on “Still Blooming”. Guest appearances include Charlie Puth, Cynthia Erivo, Haley Reinhart, Ariana Grande, dodie, Maiya Sykes, and Scarlett Johansson.

Narratively, “Night Blooms” is described as a record rooted in standards and classic songs, but framed through contemporary collaborations – ranging from pop sensibilities to a more musical-theatre-like grandeur.
